Sophia’s hobby is shopping. “We love to travel! We travel at least once a year outside the US - except during 2020 due to Covid,” Zou says. “None of us really know how to do laundry so the laundromat cleaning service is a dear companion.” The family adores their dogs! There’s Stella, a maltipoo rescue from Animal Aid in Boca; Arya, a mini schnauzer that was birthday gift from their groomer, Kathy; and Bear & Arya, two Pomeranians that were surrendered by their owner. The family moved to Stuart a few years ago and kept their Abacoa property as a rental investment, but most all of Zou’s days and nights are spent in Abacoa, because of her beloved shop, Woof Gang Bakery & Grooming Abacoa. Zou says, “I love my clients from Abacoa & Alton! Aside from common interests in dogs and cats, we talk about family, adventures, and restaurants to try. The store has become a hub of where to get recommendations for everything from spas, to real estate agents, financial advisors, lawyers, photographers, cleaners – in addition to the usual pet day care, sitters, trainers & walkers.” “Our Family motto changes every year. This year it’s “you got this” because of the uncertainty the world is facing… as situations and people change, one must be able to adapt quickly to what is thrown one’s way.
