RESIDENT FEATURE Submitted by Heather Storm Photos by Neil Cohen Photography Alexandra and Andrew met right before Christmas in 2009 – during Santa Con - a holiday event in which everyone dresses like Santa or Mrs. Claus. They had an instant connection and spent the entire night talking and laughing. Despite being from vastly different backgrounds – Alexandra was born in Colombia and came to the U.S. at age 13 and Andrew was born in rural Iowa and moved here in ‘09 to join The Honda Classic – they start dating when they were unexpectedly assigned to the same kickball team. The two married on July 6th, 2013 at PGA National and moved into their new home in Mallory Creek the same week. Together they now have a growing family with 3 children, Evan (4), Mila (2), and newborn Ellie. Andrew earned his B.A. in Business Administration at Coe College in Cedar Rapids, followed by his Masters in Sports Management, from the University of Massachusetts.
