When discussing where they wanted to look for work, Jessy made it pretty clear she did not want to do any more cold winters and in the fall of 2020 Brian joined Palm Beach Orthopedic Institute as a shoulder and elbow specialist. Because of his education, Brian is very much involved in orthopedic research and has published and presented several studies as well as authored several book chapters relating to shoulder and elbow injuries. The move to Palm Beach Gardens has been excellent. They both love the outdoors. “With our 2 girls, we are quite active at the pool, we go on bike rides and love going to the beach. In addition, we have several activities that the girls are involved with including gymnastics, ballet, and soccer,” Jessica, says. Brian is a diehard Chicago sports fan however both Brian and Jessy are baseball fanatics and enjoy going to all baseball games. “We have a goal to make it to a game in every stadium in the US and Canada,” the couple shares. Living close to Roger Dean Stadium has been a blessing as they’ve already attended several spring training and minor league baseball games. The couple was able to go on their honeymoon to Italy and ever since they have become wine enthusiasts. They were scheduled for a trip to Napa when they found out they were pregnant with Maia, but hope to make it there and other wine vineyards once travel is back to normal. They’ve also enjoyed trying the various restaurants in the Palm Beach community. The couple loves to travel. “Although we haven’t been able to travel in a while, we try and get to Puerto Rico annually to visit Jessica’s family. The culture, food and dancing makes the trip fantastic. We’d also love to get back to Europe and hope to make it over there in the next year.” Their daughters, Maia (4) and Mireya (2) just recently started at Marisol. Previously they were at the JCC summer camp. Both girls have enjoyed the schools quite a bit down here as they get to go outside and be more active than in Philadelphia. Both girls are currently involved with gymnastics and learning how to swim. “Maia is very much our dancer and is involved with ballet. She just completed her first recital in June.
