The 2nd Annual Sloane Staffing Charity Golf Tournament benefiting Place of Hope By Lindsey Todd Round up your friends to play some golf and support local foster youth! Join us for the 2nd annual Sloane Staffing Charity Golf Tournament benefiting Place of Hope on October 1st 2021. Place of Hope cares for over 340 foster children, homeless youth, human trafficking victims and survivors, as well as families in transition. They are ranked #1 in the state of Florida and the Nation for “Youth Development, Crisis Services and Shelter” by Charity Navigator and they have received the “Platinum Seal of Approval” by Guidestar nine consecutive years! Host of the tournament, Sloane Staffing, is a local staffing agency based in Palm Beach Gardens, on the corner of Donald Ross Road and Central Boulevard. This award-winning international recruitment firm specializes in direct-to-hire placements in the digital marketing, digital transformation, executive search, marketing technology and sales industries. Whether you’re looking to hire top talent for your organization or are seeking a new prime position, they’ve got you covered! The charity event will begin at 8am on Friday morning, October 1st 2021 at PGA National on the Champion course. Originally designed by Tom and George Fazio for major tournament play, The Champion course at PGA National Resort & Spa was redesigned by Jack Nicklaus in 2014 and hosts the Honda Classic each spring on the PGA TOUR. The course features the Bear Trap, which spans three demanding holes designed by Jack Nicklaus and is considered one of Florida’s most notable golf challenges. USA Today calls the Bear Trap “one of the toughest stretches in golf.” Lunch will be provided outdoors immediately following the event! The cost of entry is $250 per golfer, or $1000 per foursome. Get your company’s name out there by sponsoring a hole! For $200, your logo will be included on a tournament sign placed at the beginning of your chosen hole. Last October, sixty-four golfers, both men and ladies, played and raised more than $9,000 for Place of Hope at the first annual Sloane Staffing Charity Golf Tournament, sponsored by Tito’s Vodka. Each hole on the course was also sponsored by local companies in Palm Beach County, such as Digital Resource, Carlson Solutions, Rendina Healthcare Real Estate, The Siegel Financial Group and more. Golfers played through some short rain spurts, and prizes and stuffed goodie bags were awarded to winning teams at the end of the tournament.
