Abacoa & Alton Neighbors - February 2022
F e b r u a r y 2 0 2 2 | Abacoa &Alton N E I G H B O R S 23 Leaders Society and is the Vice-Chair of the Palm Beach North Chamber of Commerce Yong Professionals Council. Needless to say, they are FSU football fans through thick and thin! Residents of Abacoa, they have enjoyed living at the Allure for the past several years. “We moved to Jupiter from Delray Beach because we wanted to get closer to family while still living in a walkable community. We lived one block off Atlantic Avenue in Delray Beach, so Abacoa seemed like the perfect fit,” Marlee says. “We love our neighborhood because we enjoy being close to the Town Center, Roger Dean Chevrolet Stadium (can’t beat $1 beers on Thirsty Thursday!), and the immense shade the trees provides. Plus, you can’t beat having one of the nicest public golf courses in Palm Beach County right next door,” Bryce adds. If the name Sartory rings a bell, here’s why: Bryce’s family has been in Palm Beach County for quite some time. His grandfather, Larry Sartory, was the publisher of the Palm Beach Post for many years and was woven into the fabric of the community. When meeting people for the first time, it’s not out of the ordinary for them to comment on how they knew his grandfather and share stories of him. With such a busy schedule, the couple still finds time for a little fun, “We love to travel, and go to concerts and music festivals. We go to different locations, but every year we make a point to go camping and see a new part of the southeast,” Marlee says. Their family motto would be: “The grass is greener where you water it.” February is a busy month for this dynamic duo, with both ArtiGras Fine Arts Festival and The Honda Classic in full swing! Make plans to attend Artigras this month at the new location Gardens North County District Park. Celebrating 37 years, ArtiGras Fine Arts Festival has grown from a small, local art show to a nationally recognized fine arts festival attracting tens of thousands of art lovers and collectors. ArtiGras will be held President’s Day Weekend, February 19- 20, 2022 in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida. Produced by the Palm Beach North Chamber of Commerce and presented by Hanley Foundation, ArtiGras was recently named one of the top 70 fine art festivals in the country and showcases a juried exhibition of gallery-quality art from 300 artists. ArtiGras also features a Youth Art Competition, ArtiKids Kids Zone, live entertainment and much more! Visit www. artigras.org for tickets and information. The Honda Classic will return to the kickoff spot of the PGA TOUR’s Florida swing this year on February 21-27 at PGA National Resort & Spa.
