Near daily, while working as a Physician Assistant at Lickstein Plastic Surgery, I hear the laments of so many patients regretting their years of basking in the Florida sunshine. All the years of being bronzed can have detrimental effects on skin appearance and health over time. While technology is still working on time travel, we can offer our patients the most state of the art rejuvenation technology available. Sciton laser has your back, and face (and chest ;)…One of our most popular treatments, the halo laser, is the latest contender in the space time continuum. Halo laser is a skin treatment that combines hybrid fractional technology, to address common skin complaints. Fine lines, enlarged pores, and pigmentation concerns, become a thing of the past all within around an hour or two of time. Halo accomplishes this by treating the outermost layer of skin while also penetrating the deeper levels to generate collagen to reverse signs of sun damage. Our patients are surprised to find out that the “downtime” is only 3-5 days before they can apply makeup and resume their normal routine. Previous lasers required a much longer recovery phase and complicated aftercare. It’s definitely a favorite among our office staff! There are many non-surgical options out there and it can be tough to figure out which treatment (or combination of treatments) is best for you.
