Sarah embraces all that Jupiter has to offer, “I love being active and if possible, outside. Paddle boarding on the Loxahatchee River - which is right in my backyard - is one of my favorite ways to actively relax. I also enjoy running and participate in 5K’s 10K’s and ½ Marathons. Lifting weights and training in the gym also gets me pretty jazzed. I belong to a book club that enjoys meeting at the sandbar. I enjoy cooking, but also enjoy going out to eat at so many of the amazing restaurants we have here in the community.” For fun, she follows sports. Since she is originally from Minnesota, she says she will always be a Vikings fan, but she definitely cheers for the Dolphins when they aren’t playing the Vikings. She loves live concerts – especially country music and she frequents the landmark destinations in Jupiter. “Some of my favorites are Bush Wildlife, Loggerhead Marine Life Center, Riverbend Park and attending games at Roger Dean Chevrolet Stadium. We’ve got countless amazing places to eat and spend time with fellow community members who love living in paradise just as much as I do!” Sarah says. Sarah has a smart cat who happens to be a polydactyl, which means that she’s got six toes (some people refer to them as Hemingway Cats). Her name is Six and she fetches! She also recently adopted a puppy named Atlas. He’s a 14 week old Dogo Argentino and he’s very well behaved. “I recently had the opportunity to participate in the Leadership Palm Beach County’s Leadership Focus class. This helped me deepen my understanding and knowledge of all the important industries, resources, and organizations we have right here in Palm Beach County,” Sarah shares. Sarah loves to travel regularly with her girlfriends and says she feels so lucky to have a circle of strong, smart and supportive women in her life. “We go every January to run either the Key West ½ Marathon or 5k. Traveling with friends to run a race or see a concert or attend a music festival is an ideal vacation. Last summer we did an outstanding girl’s trip to Cape Cod and Nantucket!” Sarah’s personal motto would be: “There are really no mistakes, only lessons and opportunities for growth and improvement.” RESIDENT FEATURE
