RESIDENT FEATURE Submitted by Christy Heady Photos by Neil Cohen Photography Dig deep enough into the community of Jupiter and you just might find tales of history and outdoor boyhood fun that mirror the plans Cameron May and his wife Magen, have for their young sons as they raise their family in their beloved hometown. Already sojourners to Jones Creek Nature Trail, Cameron and his eldest son, two-year-old Merrick, like to adventure out and explore while local temperatures are not yet at a breaking point. Magen often joined her husband and son on the trail—she loves participating in outdoor activities, too— until the week Carson was born. Carson’s birth occurred the same week Cameron won the Town Council seat for the Town of Jupiter. And it was the same month being self-quarantined at home became a new normal. “It was a double blessing that week for sure,” May said proudly. “Having a newborn at home, a family is quarantined anyhow, we were planning on staying in or as close to home as possible,” and added that his parents, Donald and Betsy May, live nearby in The Colony and often help him and Magen.
