A former shelter magazine publisher, she has worked in residential and hospitality design as well as designing textiles and colorization for a leather company. Young says she enjoys curating a collection of furniture and accessories that inspire a story for the designed space and the challenge of making sure that story will resonate through every detail and pull together even when they juxtapose. “Now & Den was created for people who need expert design services and sourcing of original pieces without a hefty price tag and time inefficiencies,” continued Young. “Traditional interior design is expensive and time-consuming with major decisions at every step of the process. She currently lives in Southern Florida and enjoys traveling to the Florida Keys and Europe, with many other destinations on her wish list. Her favorite designers are Martyn Lawrence Bullard and Eero Saarinen, particularly for his product designs.
