COVID-19 safety precautions are in place and include sanitation procedures, limited class sizes, required masks, and a Community Commitment Agreement. Eight-week sessions run in the Fall (October 19 - December 19, 2020), Winter (January 4 - February 27, 2021) and Spring (March 1 - April 24, 2021). Classes range from introductory through advanced for students preparing for Bak, Dreyfoos School of the Arts, or an undergraduate college art program. Children of first responders, doctors, nurses, and hospital workers will receive a 15% scholarship discount. Mediums used are pencils, charcoal, pastels, chalk pastels, colored pencil, markers, crayons, tempera, and acrylic paints. A great experience for young artists with their eyes on Bak. For children ages 9-12. | Instructor: Theresa Miles Mondays, 4:30-6:30 pm Location: Fall Session - 3D Studio-Studio F; Winter and Spring Sessions - 2D Studio-Studio A Cost: $220 Art School Prep Designed for both middle school and high school students, this course provides challenging, advanced techniques in drawing and painting. This course is exceptional for young artists wishing to hone their skills for admission to Dreyfoos School of the Arts or an undergraduate college art program. For students ages 12-18. Instructor: Randall Scott Mondays, 6-8 pm Location: Fall Session - 3D Studio-Studio G; Winter and Spring Sessions - 2D Studio-Studio B Cost: $260 TUESDAYS Youth Draw and Paint This course provides an in-depth introduction to drawing and painting materials, allowing students to create in their own style, at their own developmental level.
