But I lived here for 20 years before moving to Los Angeles in 2005, where I was a red carpet reporter for a decade. From there, I went home to NJ to help care for my parents. I always knew I’d return to South Florida, and here I am! Hobbies that I enjoy: Ballroom dancing is my passion. I started consistently taking lessons a couple of years ago and everything about it brings me incredible joy and serenity. I grew up watching Fred Astaire and Ginger Rogers movies. I deeply connected to that type of dancing and glamor and decided to pursue dancesport in a meaningful way. I also love movies, music, and television. Currently, I host live Entertainment Trivia on the Legends Radio Facebook page, Wednesdays at 8pm. My Favorite Places: My favorite places are anywhere my loved ones are. NJ will always be home. I enjoyed living in Los Angeles and made great friends there, and I love where I live here in South Florida. I’m so fortunate to know the most wonderful people here and have made lifelong friends who are like family. Top of my Bucket List: Being a contestant on Dancing with the Stars. Favorite Memories: I’m very fortunate in how many special life moments I have experienced. In the interest of space, I’ll focus on childhood memories such as going to Two Guys department store and Carvel Ice Cream on Saturday afternoons with my Dad and siblings. I also have fond memories of visiting extended family in Ireland, playing in the emerald green fields with my cousins and sitting in front of a fireplace in the evening with tea and my grandmother’s freshly baked Irish Soda bread. Another cherished childhood recollection is seeing my mom and dad dressed up to attend a parents’ dinner-dance at our school, this was the epitome of glamour, sophistication and romance. Favorite Food/Beverage: Dessert - from Dairy Queen to the fanciest chocolate cake. I’m a dessert girl. Always have been. I also love my cup of coffee in the morning. Favorite Expressions: Fortune favors the bold. and “To know even one life has breathed easier because you have lived, this is to have succeeded.” Ralph Waldo Emerson Can’t Live without: Family and friends. Little Known Fact about Me: I can do two really cool magic tricks. If I could meet someone, it would be: My paternal grandparents and maternal grandfather who passed before I could meet them.
