Throughout the week, students saw firsthand how the sport industry operates. What we study in the classroom suddenly had real context and, more importantly, we gained confidence and learned that being part of an event requires teamwork, communication, and attention to detail. Deirdre Donovan is a sports management student at Keiser University. She is currently pursuing both her bachelor’s and master’s degree in Sport Management. As a dedicated college athlete, she is passionate about combining her athletic experience with her education to make an impact on the sports industry.
