That is the space AMPERA is working to address, bringing an advanced system designed to simplify how organizations access and manage energy. While the company, which has placed its world headquarters in Palm Beach Gardens, is in the early stages, its creation reflects years of development and experience. “The company was founded in June of 2025,” Brian Matthews, Founder and CEO of AMPERA, said, “So right now we’re effectively new as a company, but the foundations of the company were created over a much longer period of time.” For Brian, that distinction is key. AMPERA is not simply a startup entering the market—it is the result of a long evolution of ideas, technology, and execution. In fact, that experience extends beyond design, influencing how the company builds and delivers its systems. “The way we manufacture the ultra-safe, micro-nuclear systems is with advanced manufacturing and 3D printing, which was leveraged from another company I founded 10 years ago,” he explained. At its core, AMPERA is built around a model that shifts how customers think about energy entirely. Rather than selling infrastructure or requiring customers to operate complex systems, the company focuses on delivering energy as a service. “We don’t actually sell the product, we sell safe, clean energy,” Brian explained.
