A U G U S T 2 0 2 6 | C O U N T R Y C L U B L I V I N G - PA L M B E A C H N O R T H 1 5 First Tee - Palm Beaches Serving Our Nation’s Heroes: FORE Freedom PALM BEACH PAR 3 Under perfect skies at the Palm Beach Par 3, we had the distinct honor of hosting three remarkable veterans, Police Athletic League Officer Chris Heald, Army pilot Ken Thompson, and veteran Dr. Patricia Cepeda Russell, for a wonderful day of golf. This was a truly special experience for everyone involved. Seeing these heroes enjoy such a beautiful golf setting is an inspiring reminder of why our veterans’ programs are needed. HAPPY BIRTHDAY COACH GLEN Happy 65th Birthday, Coach Glen Beaver! With all his summer camp students, the group celebrated Coach Glen’s birthday at Commons Park! Students gathered around to sing "Happy Birthday" before everyone enjoyed pizza and birthday cake together. Coach Glen, thank you for all you do for our many students! NEW PROGRAM PARTNER Beyond the Tee has started a golf vocational training program with Passionate Care of Palm Beach. In our first sessions, volunteers helped at Dyer Park by opening and unwrapping new U.S. Kids golf clubs for our young students. While the weather put a stop to golf practice, these students were more than happy to help us prepare the clubs for our younger students. ACHIEVEMENT CENTER VISITS DYER PARK Another great round of miniature golf, pizza, and smashing drives with the Achievement Center students at TopGolf and the Puttery. The group also visited Dyer Park to experience hitting off of green grass at our practice facility. The students practiced their putting, chipping, and full swing with the help of Coach Frank Wingate.
