For this reason, our Palm Beach North delegation traveled to Tampa for our inaugural Benchmark Trip, an opportunity to gather insight as we refresh our regional strategic plan and define the next chapter for our Prosperity Coast®. A CLOSER LOOK AT TAMPA’S FORMULA FOR SUCCESS Tampa’s story of growth is one built on collaboration, innovation, and a clear regional identity that mirrors the spirit of Palm Beach North. Over two days, our delegation explored how Tampa aligns its public and private sectors to foster economic expansion and community impact. From workforce development and infrastructure to placemaking and health innovation, we saw firsthand what is possible when vision meets execution. Our time with the Tampa Bay Chamber, CareerSource Tampa Bay, Tampa Bay Partnership, Tampa International Airport, Tampa General Hospital, and the University of South Florida’s CAMLS offered valuable lessons on how communities can leverage partnerships to drive sustainable prosperity. Each conversation reinforced the importance of long- term collaboration and reminded us that the most successful regions are those that work together toward shared goals. PALMBEACH NORTH LEADERS IN ACTION The experience was made even more meaningful by the executives and community leaders who joined the delegation. Palm Beach County stakeholders stepped up enthusiastically to learn, exchange ideas, and bring home new perspectives. Our group included executives from the Business Development Board of Palm Beach County, the Economic Council of Palm Beach County, and CareerSource Palm Beach County, along with local government officials, Palm Beach County Mayor Maria Marino, and key regional developers. Each participant brought valuable insight to the discussions, and together we explored what makes a region thrive. We left Tampa with renewed energy, actionable ideas, and a deeper understanding of how collaboration among business, government, and education can shape lasting success. BUILDING THE PROSPERITY COAST® The insights gained on this trip will serve as a foundation for new initiatives and partnerships across our region. As we plan for Palm Beach North’s future, we will continue to focus on what we do best: aligning leadership, fostering innovation, and ensuring that prosperity reaches every corner of our community. The conversations that began in Tampa will continue here at home as we build stronger bridges between businesses, municipalities, and organizations to drive sustainable growth and opportunity. Collaboration remains the key to our success. Together, we are charting a unified path forward for the Prosperity Coast®, one built on shared learning, collective vision, and the belief that when our community grows together, everyone benefits. If you’re passionate about shaping the future of our region, there’s never been a better time to get involved.
