Recognizing how the College had much to offer him, Michael expresses great emotion and exceptional gratitude for his high school counselor even now, crediting her with the encouragement that led him to pursue higher education. With the one-year appointment to DBOT and a graduation date of December 2026, Michael plans on applying to a few Ivy League schools and is considering a career in computer engineering. “I’ve definitely evolved during the last few years, and now the sky’s the limit. I definitely want to be an example for my younger siblings as a person who gives others hope for their dreams, just as I had.
