When Andria Cunningham was appointed Chief Executive Officer of the Foundation for Palm Beach State College in August 2025, she stepped into a role unifying a lifelong calling to serve others through higher education, demonstrating how the power of commitment can impact others and an entire community. With energy, spirit, and more than 20 years of experience in philanthropy and nonprofit leadership, Andria is now at the Foundation’s helm, driving donor engagement, alumni relations, and philanthropic initiatives that benefit Palm Beach State, its students, and the prosperity of Palm Beach County. Andria’s professional path has steered her to countless community organizations, leading fundraising initiatives for children in foster care, expanding awareness of mental health and substance abuse services, and serving as Executive Director of the Florida Panthers Hockey Club Foundation. Prior to Palm Beach State, Andria spent six years in advancement roles at Nova Southeastern University in Ft. Lauderdale, securing transformational gifts and teaching a graduate course in nonprofit management. “Higher education has truly become my passion.
