The most innovative advancement in sports, media, and entertainment, TGL is golf reimagined. The indoor professional league combines advanced technology with teams of top PGA TOUR players for two-hour weekly competitions in prime time, broadcast live on ESPN from SoFi Center at Palm Beach State. Launched in January 2025, TGL is a venture formed by sports executive Mike McCarley and professional golfers Tiger Woods and Rory McIlroy. After the extraordinary inaugural season of TGL, Andrew George, Senior Vice President at TMRW Sports, has been intent on making SoFi Center a 365-day venue. “As soon as season one concluded, we immediately turned our focus towards utilizing SoFi Center in a variety of ways with community partners, while remaining synergistic with other sporting properties in Palm Beach County. We want to be another asset used for recruiting partners and hosting events that welcome people and organizations to our incredible community.” Through the end of 2025, SoFi Center at Palm Beach State hosted fundraising galas, million-dollar partnerships, golf events that resemble TGL matches, sales conferences, receptions, and one NFL superstar’s bachelor party at a TGL match, proving to be a sought-after location. How could it not be when a SoFi Center event lets you drive a golf ball into the same five-story simulation screen that Tiger Woods uses or roll putts on the 41- yard circular green zone with high-tech undulation like 2025 Masters champion Rory McIlroy. You’re not kicking halftime field goals at a Miami Dolphins game nor slapping pucks across the ice for the Florida Panthers. “Guests who attend events here also get a peek behind the curtain at the technology helping to transition the sport of golf and media with TGL,” Andrew shares from an upper-level suite overlooking the 1500 seat SoFi Center. That transition through technology also represents today’s Palm Beach State and the complementary relationship that Andrew appreciates. “Palm Beach State College President Ava Parker and PBSC leadership’s shared vision is such a blessing for us. Our media production, data analysis, and hospitality services program have all benefited from students and interns playing a role in game day operations. They’re gaining firsthand experience with applications of real-time implementation.”
