Chances are that if you live, work, or play in Palm Beach County, you’ve crossed paths with a Palm Beach State student or graduate. During a 50-day period, SoFi Center played host to 31 events, bringing a mix of local and national organizations and businesses to the venue, College, County, and City of Palm Beach Gardens. Throughout the year, Andrew George and the TMRW Sports team are working with tourism groups and hoteliers to build a pipeline of major private and public events. “This venue was always intended to be a unique one-of-one experience, bringing additional advantages and elevating any conference, philanthropic gala, or VIP program, including those for the College.” Palm Beach State recently celebrated its third annual Emerald Torch Awards, honoring champion golfer Gary Player and civic leader Dr. Barbara Carey-Shuler, both distinguished philanthropists serving our community. The College’s relaunched women’s and men’s golf teams also benefit greatly from the facilities and proximity of SoFi Center, using the same simulators and advanced training equipment that TGL pros use. Andrew sees TMRWSports’ thriving relationship with the community as a win-win for TGL and Palm Beach State, which produces an annual $1.4 billion economic impact on Palm Beach County. “The magnitude of TGL’s partnership with the College is tremendous, creating opportunities and initiatives that benefit businesses and the local economy.” A myriad of groups and investors have already gravitated to SoFi Center at Palm Beach State. • A CNBC event welcomed nearly 100 CEOs from a variety of industries to SoFi Center, featuring a notable lineup of speakers, including TMRW Sports co-founder and CEO Mike McCarley and PGA TOUR CEO Brian Rolapp, with a live broadcast followed by a round of high-tech TGL golf. • A kickoff for a youth sports tournament welcomed 700 soccer kids, while a recent fundraiser garnered $1 million for cancer research. • A TGL Boston Common Golf Tee Party, featuring musicians Noah Kahan and Niall Horan and YouTube stars Good Good Golf, represents the area’s growing wave of high-profile investors and organizations. • In April 2026, SoFi hosts a benefit for Hospice of Palm Beach County with the Trustbridge TeeOff: the Ultimate Masters Watch Party & Golf Experience, a premier event that combines the excitement of the game with the power of philanthropy. The timing couldn’t be more perfect with the community’s expansion of industries and opportunities for philanthropic impact, made visible by the number of construction cranes dotting the downtown skyline. The second season of TGL presented by SoFi is underway with upgrades to technology, its media center, concourse activations, a new CIROC Athletic Club hospitality space, and a broadcast that reaches 152 countries, coincidentally about the same number of countries representing Palm Beach State’s student population. The College’s foray into innovative educational technologies has been revolutionary, similar to TGL’s high-tech development of sports, media, and broadcast engineering - a blueprint that reflects advancements driving today’s industries and society. And with TGL drawing the second youngest audience for broadcast sports, a college campus is the perfect place for SoFi Center. Any campus in the country would want it, and it’s here at the Palm Beach Gardens campus of Palm Beach State College, the heart of Palm Beach County for more than 90 years.
