D-Wave, widely recognized as a leader in quantum technology, has announced plans to relocate from California to the Boca Raton Innovation Campus by the end of 2026. The move is expected to bring hundreds of jobs and position the region at the forefront of next-generation computing capabilities. Energy innovation is another rapidly expanding sector. Ampera, an advanced nuclear energy company, is establishing its headquarters in Palm Beach Gardens. The company plans to create 200 new jobs and will operate from nearly 100,000 square feet across two buildings within the Gardens Innovation Center at PGA National Commerce Park. The region’s supportive ecosystem also fosters rapid growth for home-grown companies like G.O.A.T. Foods, a tech-driven food and consumer products company that has expanded into a new 68,000-square-foot corporate headquarters in Palm Beach County at 205 Sansbury Way. The company plans to add 150 new jobs, increasing its workforce to 225 employees. Supporting this growth is the Business Development Board of Palm Beach County (BDB), the county’s official public-private economic development organization. The BDB works closely with companies, municipalities and state partners to help facilitate relocations and expansions through complimentary and confidential services such as site selection assistance, incentive coordination, expedited permitting, workforce connections, and more. Over the past five years alone, the organization has supported more than 140 companies that have created or retained more than 13,000 direct jobs with average salaries exceeding $80,000, while generating more than $1.1 billion in capital investment. Together, these new projects underscore the Palm Beaches’ growing reputation as a destination for advanced industries and global innovation—where companies are building the technologies, financial systems, and energy solutions that will shape tomorrow’s economy.
